Mythic is ID based, not “loot” based like LFR, normal and heroic. meaning that if a boss dies on that lockout ID, anyone who has that lockout ID will have that boss dead, regardless if they were involved in the kill or not. The way mythic works is the same way raid lockouts worked since vanilla. Mythic difficulty's lockout works differently than the other raiding difficulties (Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic). In Mythic difficulty, you are bound to the raid ID. This means if you join a Mythic Loot lockouts limit how frequently your character can obtain loot from a boss.

Many people wanted to finally get the mythic sets for alts or just having fun soloing on your own while social distancing. I wish they would tell us if they are never going to address it or if they are working on it, but having issues. I feel like they are trying to blame us and us not having enough gear or trying hard enough in the mythic raids.
Or is it just a loot lockout, meaning if we did the dungeon already we can go in and help guildies/get achievements.. just no loot. You cannot continue a mythic raid started prior to a transfer or faction change. If you extend a raid lockout, it will reset with a transfer/faction change. Alright, so we know that once you join a Mythic group, you are tied to that group's lockout ID (I don't really understand how it works, but you get what I'm saying). We killed Kargath, ok. Everyone shares the same lockout.
